Welcome to Beeches
Nursery Opening Times 2020
Important News ! We are open again and look forward to welcoming you all back !
We are normally closed on Mondays & Tuesdays but for the next few weeks we will be open 7 days a week to clear the backlog of orders. Please note that we are implementing a one way system, and that strict social distancing rules will be in place. Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and also disinfectant for the trolley handles.
We shall leave the plant list up on the website for now as we appreciate that many of you still wish to use this service. If you should see plants that you would like to buy please contact us by email with your list of requirements and you can then 'click & collect' prepaid orders from the nursery car park.
We appreciate your continued support and hope that you and your families stay safe.
Stevie & Margaret.
The nursery will be opening on Wednesday
18th March until 27th September.
Wednesday - Sunday.
Also open on Bank Holidays.
10 am until 4.30 pm.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our customers who continue to support us each year!
We sincerely hope that you all had a great season and we look forward to welcoming you again in 2020.
Margaret, Stevie, Emma and Tom.
We are an independent, family run Nursery and Garden specialising in hardy cottage garden perennials, including many unusual and unique varieties as well as lots of the old favourites. All plants are grown by us on the nursery at 850ft so what we offer to our customers are plants that are tried and tested - if they grow here with us then we are confident they will grow well with you!
Visitors are more than welcome to wander around our garden and stock beds which were established from a bare field in 2006, where you can see more mature specimens of many of the plants we have for sale on the nursery.
The Nursery is part of our smallholding where we live the “Good Life " - we grow our own fruit and vegetables and keep ducks, geese and chickens to supply us with eggs. The few sheep that are left are now retired and living out their days as they are all past it - a bit like us!
GARDEN SOCIETY/GROUP VISITS.
We are more than delighted to show groups/associations around the nursery and if given prior warning we can lay on tea/home baking - please telephone or e-mail to discuss how we can make your visit to Beeches Cottage Nursery a really great day out !
